Glorious day

Isn't it though? This morning the sun is shining, the sky is blue, and there is that slight crispness that comes with autumn mornings.  I've had two garden visitors this morning: a robin and a blue tit.  The blue tit has been looking at the bird house though I can't for the life of me think why.  It's definitely not the time of year to start a family. Maybe there are some scrummy insects in there for a snack.  Watching it (haven't a clue whether it was a boy or girl) made me realise that it's about half the size of a budgie.  I always thought budgies were small birds but compared to a blue tit they aren't really.

Maybe someday I'll do some budgie themed crafts, but I'm not sure my artistic talent will stretch to that at the moment.  I love the style of Ruth at Blue Eggs and Tea, it's such a clean fresh and quirky look.

I've got as far as a couple of doodles and a keyring!
